Incomplete Files and Failed Start of New Cycle.

May 19, 2020

Files may become corrupt if a cycle starts while another is sending.

Some customers have reported multiple files recording within minutes of each other and short incomplete files.

This is caused by starting a cycle to quickly after a cycle has ended.

You must wait for the aLT Logger to return to the time screen before starting the next cycle.

This condition is more prevalent on the Midmark -022 with software v1.0.4.

These units have more frequent recording times making the files much larger.

WiFi signal and network conditions will also affect the file transfer.

Corrective Action:

  • Wait for time screen to display before pressing start.

  • Typical time of file transfer under poor conditions and large file size, under 1 minute.

If cycles must be run back-to-back, press stop before unloading the unit. This will allow the cycle to complete and send while the autoclave is being prepared for the next cycle.
